(iHealthWire.Org) – 1/17/2010 Kennesaw, GA - Twisted Technologies, a Platinum Medisoft VAR has developed the first iPhone app for Medisoft, the most widely used practice management system in America, owned by McKesson Corp. Doctors are now able to check appoints for each day or view a week at a glance as well as see any available time slots. iOfficeHours will have a release coming soon that also allows doctors to make their own appointments as well from their iPhone. The app is a free download from the App Store of iTunes and Apple. This will allow doctors to test the application on demo data. If they want to check their schedule they will need to purchase the server component and install either from www.iofficehours.com or from their Medisoft VAR if they are a reseller.

The server install just takes minutes and the doctors will quickly and easily be able to see appointment times, length, reason for visit, break times, and if they click on the patient, ,all the patient info including the ability to email or call the patient directly from that screen. The doctor can view the information in portrait or landscape mode and use a calendar wheel to go to any specific month/day/year quickly and easily. The week view allows doctors to see how many appointments they have each day for that week. For practices with multiple datasets or billing companies, they will be able to access all the datasets for viewing and specify which doctor in each practice to pull the view for.
